Philipp

Hoebel

Philipp Höbel's passion for film started in 2009 with his first forays into making skateboard and ski films. It was here that he discovered his love for visual storytelling and started to hone his craft.

After completing his high school education in 2014, he landed a job at a camera rental company, which allowed him to immerse himself in the world of professional filmmaking. During this time, he also worked as a directing assistant, production assistant, and first camera assistant, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of the film industry.

In 2016, Philipp took the plunge and began working as a freelance cameraman and director. He quickly gained a reputation for his high-quality work, which led to opportunities to shoot small advertising projects, short films, and music videos. Over time, he continued to refine his skills and expand his portfolio.

In 2018, Philipp joined the team at Inmotion Studios, where he worked as a cameraman and editor. Here, he had the chance to work on a variety of projects, from corporate films to commercials, and he continued to develop his skills as a filmmaker.

In addition, since 2018, Philipp Höbel has developed a passion for special film lenses and wants to share this passion with his colleagues. That's why he founded the small lens rental boutique called "Superglas" together with his friend and colleague Loris Gleixner. Here, filmmakers and creatives can rent a variety of special lenses to make their projects even more individual and unique.

In 2020, Philipp took his career to the next level by embarking on his first major advertising projects as a cameraman and director. He focused on a range of areas, including product advertising, automotive advertising, and social media campaigns.
